Voiceover sessions are without doubt our specialist operation, as the majority of production work undertaken by Dubmaster involves a voiceover session at some stage. We have an ever-increasing list of professional voice talent, which you can audition right now in our Voice Search area. You can even direct a session from a deckchair on the beach if you wish, as we can patch the session onto our phone system, saving you time and money (especially convenient for short V/O sessions). We are not only able to provide the initial translation of script's, and voice artists in virtually any language via our Voice Search facility, but if necessary can also provide directors and producers in most languages to oversee the smooth and accurate reversioning of your production.

Dubmaster Studios can undertake your entire audio postproduction requirements or any combination of elements including: voice-over to picture, ADR, track laying, auto conform, M&E mixes, foreign-language versions and effects creation and synchronisation. Many of our clients have their own picture editing facilities and handle simple track laying in-house, using Dubmaster for the finishing touches. For other clients we start from scratch - synchronising effects into mute archive footage; adding original or library music; producing M&E tracks; and adding narration in a variety of languages. All of these elements can be sourced through Dubmaster. Voice talent can be auditioned and booked on-line with our Voice Search facility; music can be scored and synchronised in-house by our partners Diva Music; or for tighter budgets we have pre-recorded library music with helpful search facilities. We have our own large sound-effects library and online access to other SFX libraries for instant audition and download. Beta SP is our preferred working format for synchronisation and is included in our hourly rate, but we can work with any professional format if pre-booked. You know how important it is to your company's image to have a professional sounding voice prompting and messaging system. Here at Dubmaster we have many years' experience producing voice messages for companies large (IBM) and small. Extreme care has to be taken with intonation in phrases that should link together seamlessly, and that's where our expertise lies. If you wish, you can leave the whole process to us. We are able to recommend voice talent, help with messaging scripts and supply final audio in the correct format for your messaging system. You'll also be able to keep your system up-to-the-minute utilising our ISDN audio facility and using the same voice-over artist every time,.
Mastering and sound Restoration encompasses a great range of production techniques and skills, for which you'll find Dubmaster expertly equipped. Talk to us before commencing a project for an honest opinion on what might be achieved during mastering or restoration, if we can't do it or it is not cost-effective to attempt, we will say so. At Dubmaster, mastering and restoration is carried out on the highly respected SADIE Artemis digital audio workstation with Sadie's own range of mastering plug-ins including limiters, compressors, stereo enhancers, Direct-X support and the industry leading CEDAR noise removal software. We also operate a second workstation running Soundforge software with its excellent range of effects, audio rescue plug-ins and batch processing of files into alternative formats. Work has included mastering of rare archive 78 recordings to CD with scratch and surface noise removal, CD compilations with PQ coding onto DDP Exabyte masters, (the preferred format for duplication plants), format transfer, and mastering in a variety of internet streaming formats.
